SHL-Kosova is locally registered NGO working with youth and it's established in December 2008 supported by German Foundation "Stiftung Schueler HelfenLeben" based in Berlin, Germany. In order to enable the young people to meet and be active together. SHL-Kosova has a long working experience in addressing youth issues in Rahovec/Orahovac municipality. Together with youth and municipal authorities, the center has given a great contribution in promoting and advancing youth agenda

SHL-Kosova is seeking one Programme Manager, to work in the Rahovec/Orahovac (R/O) municipality.

Vision: SHL-Kosova contributes to Rahovec/Orahovac municipality to have youth with an active role in society, committed to increase quality of life of all communities

Mission: SHL-Kosova works towards having equal, empowered, well- educated and healthy youth, inclusive, cooperative, aware of its potential, capable of making right decisions for their future and competent to generate sustainability for their welfare

The main aims of SHL-Kosova are:
1. Youth have equal opportunities for inclusive non-formal, formal and quality education
2. Youth is actively involved in participation and representation in public life and is empowered to make changes
3. Youth capacities for employment and self-employment are raised for inclusion and mediation in labor market
4. Youth is actively involved in promotion of multiculturalism, diversity and cultural heritage

Targetet Youth
The main target-group of the work is youth between the age of 14 to 25 from all the municipality of R/O and beyond. The aim is to include particularly youth from the villages, unemployed youth, female, ethnic minorities as well as other marginalized groups.

SHL-Kosovo respects differences among people and promotes equal opportunities for all. The Organization's activities are open to all youth, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, sexual orientation, urban or rural background and other forms of social differentiation.


  • Directing the team in the following tasks: project-development, planning, administration, monitoring and evaluation and program- supervision
  • Further development and strengthening of the local organization
  • Communication with local authorities, schools, parents, youngsters, as well as (potential) partners and donors (including regular information-exchange with SHL-Germany)


  • Preferably degree in social science, economy or related fields; Master degree is an asset.
  • Consolidated experience in organization/ office management, preferably in the non-governmental/ youth sector.
  • Proven capabilities/ experience in team-leadership, financial and program planning, as well as fundraising.
  • Interest and ability to work in a multiethnic environment.
  • Fluency in Albanian, Serbian (Croatian, Bosnian) and English. German is advantage.
  • Analytical skills and report-writing-abilities.
  • Willingness and engagement to develop him/herself and the team further.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Driving-license.
