About us

Internationales Deutschlehrerkolleg for Educators in Central and Eastern Europe was a programme for teacher trainers for German as a foreign language.

In May 2001, the Robert Bosch Stiftung initiated the „Internationales Deutschlehrerkolleg für Fortbilder in Mittel- und Osteuropa" (International German Teacher College for Trainers in Central and Eastern Europe) in cooperation with the following institutions:

• Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen
• 2interDaF e.V. at the Herder Institute of the University of Leipzig
• Goethe Institutes Inter Nationes Prague, Bratislava, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.

The project was supported by the Ministries of Education of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A total of 37 scholarships have been awarded to teachers of German language from the above mentioned countries.
