Round Table with Berlin mayor in Moscow

During his first three-day visit to Moscow in mid-March, the governing mayor of Berlin, Michael Müller, not only wanted to revitalise the town-twinning Berlin-Moscow on the municipal political level, but explicitly wished to get in touch with civil society. In the frame of MitOst's Platform for Social Innovation, Zoya Lukyanova organised a Round Table on Social Start-up's in Russia in cooperation with Impact Hub Moscow. Apart from the mayor's delegation and representatives of our partners Robert Bosch Stiftung, Impact Hub Moscow and Impact Hub Berlin, Russian entrepreneurs active in the field of social innovation were invited. During the intense meeting, Müller became acquainted with the business models of the present entrepreneurs of Charity Shop, Cocco Bello Honey and Explorussia as well as with representatives of SAP CIS, Ernst&Young, RUSAL, Bright Capital, RVVZ Foundation and the Russian Managers Association. At the end of the talk Müller emphasised the importance of social start-ups for the future collaboration of the two cities.
